Hello Annaig,
I'm interested.
Please send me the pdf of Marguet's book at jacksonmcdonald{at}hotmail.com
I can read, speak, and write the language of Moliere, though some of the nautical vocabulary might be a challenge.
Thank you.
Jackson

Subject: [NavList] Toward a reedition of "Histoire generale de la navigation" by F. Marguet
Are on the forum people willing to annotate Marguet's Histoire générale de la navigation du xv au XX siécle (1931) ?
To constitute a team of annotators? To confront our opinions, interpretations of historical facts, when they are antagonistic? (l'ennui nait de l'uniformité)
I will have more proposals to do.
People interrested by should contact me by mail. They should receive the full file of Marguet, Histoire générale de la navigation in return ( this is an achieved electronic version, mostly free of errors, I revised it according to academic standards)
I understand that people able to read Marguet in French might be reluctant to annotate his book in a language wich is not their native one. Therefore, I propose to do the job either in French or in English at the conveniance of the writer
Avel mad, fair wind.
