Did you mean Crunchy Baton Grin hidden under those beech trees to port Brian? It’s much smaller than Crybus Rising. That’s the trouble with the UK, there are so many of these places about you can't see the wood for the trees. I didn’t say exactly where you photographed, because I know where you fly, and it wouldn’t have been fair to the others.
You must have been flying a ropey Cub Brian, obviously not an L4NE Grasshopper. The throttle stopped where you left it in G-BROR (43-29594) and the port window didn’t vibrate loose, but she was a 1943 Model. I have a feeling we even flew her with the starboard window clipped up under the wing on occasion. She flew exactly like the Microsoft version. The only problem was getting your feet onto the rudder pedals if the guy in the front had a wide backside. I had to buy the narrowest gym shoes in Lincolnshire to fly in. I always flew her solo from the back, but one shareholder insisted on flying her from the front with a giant car battery stapped into the back seat. That was until the day the battery fell out of the staps and onto the floor making him think he'd has a "mid-air". Happy New Year DaveP
