    Navigating isn't a problem. Taking the photo is.

    In a Cub, the left window vibrates open, and lets cold air in.  When you take your hand off the throttle in this one to close the window, the revs drop. Piper made well over ten thousand Cubs, and none has a throttle friction you can adjust in flight. So when you need two hands to take an iPhone photo of a Bronze-Age hill fort, something goes wrong!

    DaveP half-solved the navigation fix, by looking more closely at my knee-pad. ( see my earlier post about Lars.) 

    Be careful using Iron-Age hill forts. They affect the compass.

    Why did DaveP only half-solve the navigation problem? Because out of the left window, only two miles away, I could see another Bronze-Age hill fort...
