I am a ttaching an image of the K&E 4080-3 that has the trig scales marked in minutes instead of decimal degrees since i think this system of marking makes more sense for a celnav slide rule that you are planning to create. These marking are more precise in that, depending where you are on the scales, there are more subdivisions, e.g. 12 marks, one every 5 minutes virsus only 10 marks, one every tenth of a degree (6 minutes.)
I have also attached an image of a Pickett slide rule. I find it much easier to read the scales on my K&E 4080-3 than the similar Pickett N 3 T which is marked in decimal degrees.
