And remember, if you are looking at the formula for the rhumb line course found in AFPAM 11-216 that there is an error. You need one more set of parenthases around the denonminator. The "180" multiplies the result of the subtraction of the two terms, not just the first term.

Put another parens between the "180" and the "Ln" and then a closing parens at the end.
