I’ve found converting from degrees, minutes, seconds (as on my Fuller 3) to decimals a bit tedious, potentially dividing by 60, 3 times and having to make notes.(ie mistakes again!). So maybe a good idea, except the added visual clutter of yet more numbers. Difficult balance I think.

I am getting calculator type accuracy now with my updated Fuller 3 and able to get lunars spot on using the Thompson formula which is easy and quick on a slide rule. I have tried this with my simple school boy 1960s Thornton 10” but the results are not accurate enough for me.(1-3 decimal places, longitude sometimes miles out, Fuller 4-7, always close enough).
