I feel happy, actually honored, by your including the Ix-Azimuth-Diagram ( IAD : ) ).
Maybe an additional worksheet on writable plastic would be advantageous. It might
implement the great Doniol formula that you dug up and also the Vedic multiplication scheme. You know we differ on the cos() table but so be it.
There is reality to my interest in things CelNav: My son Andy is a pilot (USAF/SWA) and a sailor planning to go blue water. You can imagine why I am interested!

For timing I use a solar powered Citizen analog quartz which keeps time to better than a second per month. Back-up is a digital Casio with a ten year lithium battery. I'm not a purist when it comes to timing.
