Any idea what these are? ebay [...] MARINE-RELATED-ITEMS. There are two Capt Fields Pattern parallel rules. The metal bit looks like it’s from a ‘Bigsworth Board’, but what about the celluloid item? It looks like some complicated analogue device to solve the triangle of velocities, but how does it work, and why are the tide/wind arrows on a slant? DaveP
