(On the other hand, if the US's National Security Agency can monitor domestic phone calls in direct contravention of US law in the name of WOT (War on Terror), I suspect there's nothing to stop them from masquerading as a 911 service, either). But if you want to worry about that, how's about the largest license plate manufacturer in Britain proposing to put RFID tags in them? Heard a bit about that on the radio yesterday, with the marketing droid telling about what a great advantage to the police it would be... Lu Abel
