A celestial navigation enthusiast posted a video that included a list of stars for evening sights. It's an odd selection, but so be it. He also reported that he was 120 nautical miles from where he started. Therefore there is land and presumably a "safe harbor" at that distance. This is a planning list for evening twilight, predicted altitudes and "bearing" for various stars. The UT (marked as GMT) is cut off in this snip, attached below, but the original said 0152.You can assume this was set up for Friday or Saturday evening, local date, so less than 48 hours old.
Where was he? And can you find a significant error, where an altitude or azimuth is inconsistent by more than 5°?
