    I compute refraction with the Cassini formula, or Astronomical Almanac
    formula at low altitude. To prevent discontinuity where the models
    change, a weighted average is taken in the transition zone (10° - 15°).
    
    So below 10° (as in both Mercury lunars), my refraction model is simply
    the Almanac low altitude formula (2nd on this page):
