Same game. Figure out the historical event.

You're in the western Atlantic on the anniversay of this event, May 5, 2026. You're sailing slowly on course 090 at 4 knots. Seaweed drifts by......

First Sun sight: at 14:34:12 GMT, Sun LL, 54d 22'. Fifteen minutes pass. There's an unusual celestial object visible. Can you get its altitude, too?

Second Sun sight: at 14:49:36 GMT, Sun LL, 57d 43'. And a new "Age" has begun.....

Two hours and ten minutes pass. It's LAN. The Sun is hanging there due South, constant altitude, but not for long!

LAN Sun sight: at 17:00:00 GMT, Sun LL, 78d 57'.

Where are you? What's the historical event???

    Josh
