Several years ago,I was put in touch with a gentleman, I was seeking information on some navigation texts I had seen reference to.The guy turned out to be a Senior Chief Quartermaster, since retired, who was involved in teaching navigation. He mentioned that CN was no longer taught at Annapolis, noting that it was still taught to enlisted ranks, Quartermasters. I would assume that that was still the case, though it now seems that CN may, to what extent I don't know, again be taught at the Naval Academy. What goes around comes aound might be appropriate.
