Jim: While I certainly believe that CN was taught to at least some NROTC students in the 60s into the 70s, the more pertinent point re this discussion is whether it is still being taught now.... Otherwise having 20% of junior naval officers (ie, USNA graduates) with a basic knowledge of celestial would not be the "promised land" touted by some NavList members should all electronic navigation suddenly become inoperable.
