I addressed my reply to Jackson rather than Michael. Konrad (Gcaptain) often refers to journalism and himself as a journalist in his second article, and then reprints an article from Reuters. IMHO posting a blog does not qualify anyone a journalist, any more than than having a SLR which can capture movies and a Youtube account makes the operator a bonafide filmmaker. If you like Konrad's unbiased journalistic style by all means put some coin in the CEO's collection plate by purchasing Gcaptian merchandise. (It's worth a visit to see how many merchant mariners are skimpily clad female fashion models or adorable children on private boats.) [NOTE FROM FER: This message originally included a link to the gcap online shop as well as a copy of an advertisement showing a pretty woman wearing some of their merchandise. There's nothing wrong with making fun of over-blown, tacky advertising, but we can't include things like that in NavList messages because they are distributed to some members by email, and those copies would be interpreted both by automated systems and also casual readers as actual advertisements leading to spam blacklisting]
