This is not real news. It's certainly true that US Navy ships have the ability --and never lost the ability (contrary to other popular reporting)-- to use celestial navigation. But there is no story here based on actual journalism. It's just "some guy" --aided, very likely, by his A.I. sidekick-- churning out dozens of stories as this aircraft carrier transits around India to make its way to the Persian Gulf.
The source of this story appears to be a clickbait article published by an Indian news source, W*** (supposedly from "World Is One News" but more likely that is a retronym for an available website address at the time of founding). They produce endless trashy articles, and their website hosts an unlimited supply of sleazy advertisements on each and every page. A Google News search on the author's name plus the name of the aircraft carrier yields a whole collection of articles on related topics [see attached images]. And this search only displayed a fraction of the articles published under this byline in the past twenty-four hours. Clearly the author has zero insider information on the activities aboard this aircraft carrier. And clearly his job (assuming he really exists and is not 100% A.I.) is to bring clicks to the advertising engine and nothing more.
