Yes, it's down. If you're having one of this "is it just me" moments with a misbehaving website, there are many tools that will answer that question for you, and they're fun to experiment with, too. Try googling "is my website down". Here's a simple tool that I have used before: http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/.
Given that tomorrow is a major holiday (it's American "Thanksgiving" for those of you not in the US), there is a chance that the site will remain down until Friday morning, but usually issues like this are resolved within a few hours.
