    My apologies; I see what you mean.  After rereading what I wrote I see that in my final draft I got my top and bottom swapped over.  Looking at the photograph, the bottom mirror clearly makes a bigger angle with the index mirror than the top one.  Moreover, the quintant is reading 15 degrees on the 0 to 140 scale, and the angle the angle between the top horizon mirror and the index mirror appears to be about 7.5 degrees.  The quintant is reading 55 degrees on the 40 to 180 scale and the angle between the lower mirror and the index mirror appears to be about 27.5 degrees.  I noticed this at the start, so I’m not sure why the flip occurred, except by possibly spending too long brainstorming. As statement b came from statement a, that too ended up back to front.  DaveP
