    Thanks for posting the link.

    Only yesterday I called into a secondhand bookshop that has a copy of the fifth item on the list - Astonomical Navigation made easy by Ferguson. It is a slim volume. Nearby on the shelf is a 1918 copy of Nicholl's Concise Guide to the Navigation Exams. I did not buy either book because of the asking price. Both books have been unsold for several months.

    The pdf is searchable. I could not find a reference to Nicholl's.

    What attracted me to the list is the first two items on page 1, both of which I have. I also have three editions of Bennet (also on page 1). But obviously I have a long, long way to go with my collection.................
