The part of my post that was very serious was about your excellent instructions. I share Hermans frustration with the printed instructions. The rest was meant to be comedic. A challenge for an armature like me.

You have a good estimation of the process using Table 4. Herman's comments about the instructions printed on Table 4 are perfect. I made the steps to minimize or eliminate errors people might make when using the instructions. In most of the practice of celestial navigation I work from the idea I want to be able to carry out all of the steps from the shot to the sight reduction to plotting the LOP when physically exhausted (such as to be found when solo sailing). Thus you saw words to that effect, to wit "write it down".
It might help some day.....
