Thanks for the heads up. I went outside and got a fine view. I then grabbed my Kollsman periscopic sextant and took these sights: Greenwich date 12-02-2008. Venus, 023729 Z , 11º 02' Jupiter, 0283945 Z, 11º 22' Moon LL, 024407 Z, 13º 37' I then grabbed my MA-1 pendulous mirror hand held Kollsman sextant and shot the moon as the planets had set behind my neighbors roof line. Moon LL, 024714 Z, 13º 05' I then grabbed my other MA-1 Moon LL, 024849 Z, 12º 52' I then grabbed my MA-2 bubble hand held Kollsman sextant Moon LL, 025028 Z, 12º 42' AP 34º 16.6' N, 118º 54.0' W. gl --- On Mon, 12/1/08, frankreed@HistoricalAtlas.net <frankreed@HistoricalAtlas.net> wrote: From: frankreed@HistoricalAtlas.net <frankreed@HistoricalAtlas.net> |
