    Just remember that the most accurate lunars sights occur when the moon and the other body move in the sky as close as possible on the same line (for example the ecliptic). In that case. the relative speed between them would be the highest possible, and therefore the time calculation would be more accurate. The faster any clock runs (minutes, seconds, milliseconds, etc.), the more precision you can get. Vertical lunars are the opposite case.
