Re Moonglow. The Moon and Saturn were a bit further apart just now (21:57:27 UTC 8th Sep 2022). From 53:10N 000:32W, and no longer vertical. I believe I could make out Saturn about 7 Moon diameters right and two Moon diameters up from the Moon, so I was probably wrong, and you probably could just make out Saturn 5 degrees from the full Moon. The picture below is a bit fuzzy. I couldn’t get any closer to the wall for support without trampling on Mrs P’s geraniums, but you can just about make our Saturn as a fuzzy patch. There were ghosts in my phone, but I don't think that patch is. The mark to the left of the fuzzy patch is a touch too close unless the Moon has really bloomed out and appears bigger than it actually is. DaveP
