I tried to find it Wednesday and Thursday after work, from two different locations. Both night there was a band of clouds right where the comet was supposed to be. Mother Nature is not expected to cooperate tonight. Damn!

For northern hemisphere observers, there's one more night (Friday just after sunset) when we have a chance to see Comet McNaughton which has blossomed into a fairly spectacular comet. After that, sweeping fast through perihelion, the comet will dip into southern skies where southern hemisphere observers should have a great view. Pictures and observing info on skytonight.com.
