Hi Tony,
Did you try to download the pdf (see link at the bottom)?
Or does the e-rara webpage not open for you?
The full title is
William Jones,
Geometrical and graphical essays containing a general description of the mathematical instruments
used in geometry, civil and military surveying, levelling, and perspective : with many new practical problems … by
the late George Adams (London, 1797).
The 1803, 1807 and 1813 editions are also available on Internet Archive
https://archive.org/search.php?query=%22Geometrical%20and%20graphical%20essays%22
I usually prefer the e-rara scans as they are of better quality – the Google book scans are to be avoided as the fold-out plates are usually not scanned. However, sometimes there is
nothing else, then a Google scan can be useful.

Dear Robert, the link does not work for me.
Could you please give the name of the book - to look for it elsewhere?
Thank you in advance.
Warm regards,
Tony
