You are correct. I don't see any reason why I wrote two numbers wrong like that. I even thought that I went back and checked them against the original photo.
Robert - thank you for the book reference. For others who want to use the engraved table, the instructions are there. Click on the cover page. Then click on the "V" in the upper right corner for an index that includes a pdf of page groups. Click "257[279] pdf" and scroll to pages 28-30 of the pdf. The referenced photos are of the instruments.
Tony - the book from Robert tells how to measure an inaccessible object by taking two shots at different angles. With my propensity for errors, I won't try to repeat them. :-(
