Re the short list I posted, Gary ads some interesting alternatives too, I forgot a scientific calculator. My personal favorite being the HP 11C, one of which I've had for 20 plus years. It is battery powered, which to some might be a drawback, though battery life seems quite long. There are solar powered calculators to be had, though none use RPN entry, which seems sad to me.
