This archive covers the present NavList on google. It also covers
Navigation-L on webkahuna, as well as its predecessor Navigation on ronin. This is very
much "in development", but I thought some of you might like to see that it
does in fact exist. I just finished e-mail masking which, of course, is very
important for a publicly available archive.
The "search" function will not do anything until the site has been indexed.
I estimate this should be functioning in about a week. The various sorts (by
subject, by author, by date, by message size) are not ready yet. I'm not
planning to make this a live-update archive where posts appear within a few
minutes of posting, since we have that already on the google web interface.
Instead this would be updated on a daily basis. I believe I can also set it up so
that comments and questions can be sent from the archive. These would be
moderated, but if you like to think of an archive like this as a sort of "public
service" then this functionality would be a real benefit.
Suggestions are welcome! Just don't say to me, "hey the search function
doesn't work!" <g> (see above).
