Orjan,
I agree that the Weem's Line of Position using Hanno's azimuth diagram is a fine sight reduction marriage. Hc is obtained with only three table entries and two sums. Combine this with the superior performance of the Hanno Ix azimuth diagram over the Rust diagram and you have one very nice azimuth intercept short table. Perhaps the best to date.

few days ago i was lucky to find an online version of Weems Line of position book, it allowed the saving of one pagecat the time and I thought it worth the effort, after some work i now have it as a single pdf that I can print as I wish.
yesturday I printed the tables from Weems LOP book and the trio of azimuth diagrams, after trying a few LOP's I replaced them with Hanno's azimuth diagram instead.
Hannos diagram is one piece and I also percieve it as being faster, I now have a new prefered sightreduction method it seems.
