Two more comments (I pressed the "send" button too soon):

The "Sachsen" has a period after it, which is very mindful of the way
people put periods after the names of ships (at least in America) up
until the mid-1800s (look carefully at any of the prints of sidewheelers
from the time and you'll see a period after the vessel's name on the
sidewheels).

In line with my observations about the disproportionate size of the
shackles, the pins holding the shackles into the shank are even more
disproportionate in size.  Their diameter is nearly half the size of the
shank!   Such a hole just for a shackle intended only for hanging the
anchor off a billhead would not make sense at all -- it would weaken the
shank far too much!
