Could any expert in19th century navigation techniques kindly work through one on the entries in the "scrap paper," explaining what is exactly going on...and perhaps then link to a corresponding entry in the Morgan's log? Perhaps beginning with the regular time corrections for the chronometer that appears to be a bit slow...I am guessing?
