How many sights? As a Cadet in 1955, we would not get away with 4 stars or a cocked hat with a nice position in the middle, the Master would go through our calculations and award days leave lost for any mistakes…happy days! Our weapons were the Nautical Almanac, Nories Tables and an HB pencil on a foolscap sheet.
