My question regarding the analemma:

I'm not sure my desire is a realistic one but as I ask the question perhaps you will understand that which is a curiosity to me.
I would like to see the analemma only with small lines superimposed across the images of the sun representing the plane of the ecliptic, and or the plane of the celestial equator as they would intersect each image of the sun.
A different but graphicly proportional representation of the analemma, or portions thereof, would likely be necessary to show the details across the sun's image that I'm interested in seeing across the 48 different images of the sun shown in the analemma. Or, if no less than eight (8) specifically select images would show the intersections of interest. As I think about this now, it might be easy enough to show the relationships; but, I've never seen such collected precisely as I have described particularly with respect to the analemma.
If such a representation were attempted, then the plane or planes, depending upon whether only one or both, of the ecliptic and or the celestial equatorial, planes were depicted. In order to see, i.e., depict, the desired relationship(s), the plane(s) would best be depicted rotated by 45°.
We always see, on the printed page, the planes (equatorial and celestial) as they eliminate from the earth. I would like to see, in print, those planes as they cross the sun during the course of the year.
