George,
I believe that you are not alone in your book collecting: I too share
your passion for books. When I approached the 2,000 book mark I
decided that I would become more selective. I have arbitrarily set a
ceiling of 2,000 books. If I begin to get close to that mark, I thin
my books and sell them at a local used book store. I usually do a
batch of 200 books at a time. They pay me half in cash and give me
half of the value as a credit at the book store, which I then use to
of course buy more books... ;-)
To the list in general: I am sure that there are others out there
with bibliomania - it goes with the territory!
