In his training video Bill Buckley stated that the failure of many earlier attempts to teach CelNav rests in that they also explained WHY it works, instead of just HOW it works.
For me personally, this cookbook approach did not work very well - but then, I sit behind a desk contemplating the math behind it all, while they used it in real life.
