A slight correction to my last post: for "Subtracting LHA west from GHA suggested a likely area for placing an assumed position. Of course it ended up as plus LHA east." read "Subtracting LHA from GHA suggested a likely longitude for placing an assumed position. It ended up as a longitude east." DaveP
