Hi Josh,
Just attaching my "plot" so that you know I worked on this scenario. Tarawa is the historical place in question. The site of the horrible battle during the Second World War. It's a little amazing that the very center of the battlefield, the island of Betio, is now a thriving little city --the capital of Kiribati (pronounced like KEER-uh-bas).
My plot came out indistinguishable from the positions already posted by others.
