At last! Yes! The church is important, but you don't have to identify it specifically. What can you see? The tower almost face on. So where's the alter? At the other end. So which way are we looking? East! So what does that mean? In the photograph, the angle between the celestial equator and our zenith is indeed our latitude.
So, if the church can't be found on Wake, perhaps we're not at 165E. How about searching on Hawaii at 155W or the Northern Marianas at 145E. DaveP
