Now think what the error in each LOP might be. Perhaps plus/minus 2 tenths of a mile to either side? Now draw lines parallel on either side of each LOP 0.2 miles away. The results will create a larger and smaller triangle than than you started with. Anything within the larger triangle but outside the original cocked hat is also quite possible. If I recall threads from the past, you have a higher probability of being outside the cocked hat than it it. I'll try to find the thread that. Any help locating the thread would be appreciated.
