Attached is a Pub 249 vol 2 sight reduction and plot using the black diamond selected optimal stars shown in Pub 249 vol 1. The given star calculated altitudes as shown on the example list becomes the observers Ho to compare to the Pub 249 vol 2 Hc.

Pub 249 shows a close match at latitude 8 south with the LHA of Aries between 19° and 20°. GHA Aries is 34° 26' so longitude will be around 15° west.
