Who's that hiding behind Jupiter?

Coming back along the Lincoln Edge just now (N53.10' W000.32') after a blackberrying expedition at around 21:00BST we saw a bright light almost due south at about 15 degrees altitude. At first, we thought it was an E3 with one landing light brighter than the other, but it didn’t get any closer, so we concluded it was Jupiter in conjunction with Saturn. However, by the time we got home Saturn was staring to show about 10 degrees to the left of Jupiter. That leaves the question, what could we see clearly with the naked eye less than a degree to the left of Jupiter? I'm going out again to see if I can see Pluto and Nunki. DaveP
