FYI, the latest released version of Celestial Tools is 2.8.1, but V3.0.0 is expected to be released later this week.

I believe the computer program you referencre is Celestial Tools, the latest version of which is version 2.7 something I think.
It has the capability of, among other things, reducing sights using Law of Cosines and or Nautical Almanac Concise Tables, whichever one chooses. You can, if desireed pr4int out the entire calculation, time diagframs and fixes.
One is admonished not to use for actual navigation, the thing being descsribed, as I recall, as "medium accuracy". I don't know why this admonition, unless it be an exercise in CYA.
