Will Google Maps give you bearings?

Google Maps will readily give you the accurate distance from Point A to Point B. Has anyone succeeded in finding a simple, non-expert way of persuading Google Maps to give you an accurate bearing from A to B? I’m only talking about distances of 20 miles or less, so I’m not too worried whether it’s a rhumb line bearing or a great circle initial course. DaveP
