Re: Will anyone ever find Shackleton's lost ship?

It appears that the expedition has reached the search area, or nearly so, within the past hour or two. I'm attaching an image of the recent track (AIS) and also an image I found on their website showing ice conditions two days ago. Looks bad, but I guess they were able to get in there. You can see from the tracking site that they had to maneuver in from the northwest to get to the vicinty of the "Endurance Memorial Position" (note the inset in the upper left of the ice conditions image). For reference Endurance is expected to be found within a few miles of 68.65°S, 52.45°W.
