Convenient to translate "by" as "and a bit" is very helpful. But in the old days Boxing the Compass required one to name 128 points, including fractional points. See learnsailor.com/navigation. Really?
And I finally figured out how to use Navlist's advanced search facility (to search for previous postings on "occultation," for example. I didn't realize you simply put a search string into the "ENHANCED BY G" box. (A little confusing for my small brain.) Thanks all for the pointers and occultation discussions.
