I've been wanting to round this up for a long time and I finally got around to doing it. For whoever is interested in looking at the path of S.A. Agulhas themself, I attach three files:
- raw-data.zip — raw JSON files as I received them from the API during the expedition. Sadly, no data before 16th February is available.
- endurance.gpx.zip — a (zipped) GPX track with time, position, heading and speed for every data point, as extracted from the JSON files. Includes also the off-chart travel via South Georgia, all the way to and including some mooring in Cape Town. This file should be loadable in various GIS software.
- final01-1240.png — a plot of the main part of the track with some bells and whistles. There are still things I'd like to improve but if I waited for those, I'd never post anything.
I'd also be happy to publish the QGIS project that I used to make the map; it just requires a bit of cleanup so I'm not doing it now.
Once more, thank you Robin Stuart for your kind words, and congratulations to the confirmation of the accuracy of your and your co-authors' findings!
