It is the summer solstice for me (-;
I note that the sun's dec will be 23° 26.1' between 0300 and 1700 GMT on 2016/12/21. For me that is from about 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon. The altitude will be low enough for me to observe in an AH. It will all depend on the weather, which at this lat and on an island is variable - can be four seasons in one day.
Thanks for reminding me about the solstice.
