Winter Solstice and a Moon Eclipse

I was checking the almanac to confirm that it is the winter solstice today and discovered that there is also an eclipse of the moon. The eclipse is not visible from 41S. The sun is also not visible today but that has nothing to do with the relative positions of the sun, moon and earth!
Note that in the photo of the solstice LAT stands for Local Apparant Time although I suppose that it could also stand for latitude.
