They require manual almanac inputs, but will solve the celestial triangle and give you azimuth and intercept without your having to consult a sight reduction table. I don't use these afloat, but they're useful for terrestrial practice. I'll also throw in a second Excel workbook with solves various sailings problems (point-to-point course & distance, fix by two bearings, etc.) -- Peter Smith
