There are many fold outs, drawings, maps etc. in the Wrinkles. The list of illustrations occupies 3 pages in my edition. My experience with print on demand was strictly negative. In most cases such book (sold by Amazon) was simply unreadable, and I had to return it. This happened with Gould's book on chronometer, for example. It has 1/4 of the pages completely black. I tried to replace, and they could not. Finally I found a readable copy free on the Internet. There may be a fold-out in one or more of those, but nothing worth worrying about. A print-on-demand copy for $20 or less is certainly a reasonable investment. It's an excellent book. Have you already downloaded a PDF copy of it? Do that FIRST! There are also a great variety of companies that do print-on-demand. Check with them to make sure that a standard page with diagrams will print properly (to avoid the problem Jackson describes) and verify that they are using the exact pdf edition that you want. -FER ---------------------------------------------------------------- NavList message boards and member settings: www.fer3.com/NavList Members may optionally receive posts by email.
